Leaders at all levels within the global business events industry will
be recognised at the Events Industry Council’s (EIC) annual Global
Awards, which will be held at IMEX America in Las Vegas.
The awards, in partnership with Cvent, recognises leaders in the following categories:
• Hall of Leaders, recognising lifetime achievement for those that have had a legacy impact on the global business events sector
• Social Impact Award, recognising extraordinary effort on the part of an individual or organisation in the areas of people, planet, and prosperity
• Adaptation and Innovation Award,
recognising extraordinary effort on the part of an individual or
organisation in the areas of adaptation and innovation to ensure our
industry’s relevance now and into the future
• Pacesetter Award,
recognising emerging leaders whose forward thinking and innovative
approach has led to changes that are advancing the industry today.
Amy Calvert, CEO of the EIC, says: “Recognising, rewarding and
celebrating the incredible leadership and achievements for our sector
during the EIC Global Awards event is one of the highlights of the EIC
calendar.”
