A marriage of traditional event experience with future-proof features with MCEC's new digital solution.
Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre has launched a new digital events platform which promises to deliver "hybrid without the headaches".
According to the centre, this new hybrid and virtual digital event platform will marry "all the benefits of a traditional MCEC event experience plus the future-proof features and advantages of a high-performance digital platform".
All event components, from multi-speaker presentations and keynotes, to workshops, virtual breakout spaces and networking, will be available live, online and on demand.
Just like a physical event, organisers will have access to a support team from MCEC, consisting of a dedicated digital event manager and in-house "techsperts", as well as flexible staging options and ultra-fast, secure internet infrastructure.
MCEC chief executive, Peter King, noted that "in an ever-evolving event landscape...It is no longer realistic for an event to be solely in-person or online and we saw a need for this combined approach without compromising the quality of the delivery, so no matter where people are, they can have the same level of participation in the event".
