Millennium Hotels and Resorts (MHR) has entered into a strategic partnership with MICE sourcing platform HXE, giving it access to the latter’s client network as well as sales tools.

HXE, a Beijing-born software-as-a-solution provider formerly known as Huixiaoer, is headquartered in Singapore and has a network of more than 400,000 corporate and MICE clients in more than 300 cities globally.

Under the partnership commencing this month, participating Millennium properties will gain access to HXE's network. HXE will also support the sales journey by managing lead generation and enquiry handling.

For HXE, the agreement expands venue choice for its customers by adding access to hundreds of Millennium hotels in major business and leisure destinations, including Singapore, New York, Los Angeles, London, Paris and Dubai.

Meanwhile, Millennium Hotels and Resorts operates a portfolio of over 145 properties in 80 destinations across Asia, Europe, the Middle East, New Zealand and North America.

Cinn Tan, CCO, Millennium Hotels and Resorts, said the partnership adds an additional channel to capture qualified demand, adding that China’s outbound MICE sector continues to present significant commercial opportunities.

Liang Yang, CEO, HXE: “The collaboration between HXE and MHR could truly initiate a seamless digital integration of MICE and hotel operations for MHR, enabling MHR hotels to be native to the complete scenarios of digital customer acquisition, service, and offline experiences.”

Positioned as one of Asia's largest MICE sourcing and booking platforms, HXE supports the full event lifecycle from venue sourcing and proposal management to booking, on-site execution and business analytics.
