FCM Travel has launched FCM Proactive Analytics, a service that monitors corporate travel data and emails scheduled analysis to customers and FCM account managers.

The service is designed to identify emerging cost and policy-compliance issues without requiring users to log in to a dashboard, formulate a query or manually produce a report. Analysis can be delivered weekly, monthly or quarterly.

“Insights are delivered direct to both customers and FCM Account Managers, enabling earlier intervention on costs and compliance gaps, reducing manual reporting effort, and giving teams stakeholder ready narratives that travel managers can bring straight into leadership and review conversations,” FCM said in a statement.

At launch, it covers hotel spend by city, airline costs and carrier trends, route performance, and concentrations of traveller spend. The output includes analysis and recommendations intended to support earlier action and reduce manual reporting.

Data three ways

FCM said Proactive Analytics is the second of three data-access modes. FCM Platform provides interactive dashboards, benchmarking and self-service reporting using defined metrics. Proactive Analytics sends scheduled monitoring results to users.

The company will also roll out a Model Context Protocol tool, which will let customers question the same governed travel data in natural language through their own AI tools.

FCM said customer data remains within its governed data environment and is not used to train third-party AI models. It also plans real-time, trigger-based alerts for Proactive Analytics. Over time, the company intends for FCM MCP to connect travel data with customers’ HR, sales and expense systems.

“Our technology does the watching, so our people can do the advising,” commented Jessica Dunderdale, FCM Travel’s global head of product.
