JW Marriott Singapore South Beach has added another arm to its JW Connects business events portfolio: Studio Britannia, a fully equipped broadcast studio for virtual and hybrid event needs.
Earlier in 2020 when physical meet ups were tougher, the hotel launched JW Connects, offering on-site and off-site meeting solutions for hybrid webinars or simulcast bookings. The idea was to restore shared experiences to the business events scene — such as delivering meals to remote participants logging in to virtual meetings, or virtual team-building activities including cocktail/mocktail and sushi making masterclasses.
With restrictions in the Lion City increasingly relaxed, now planners can consider in-person meets at Studio Britannia, fitted with a 6x4m green screen, ultra-high speed live streaming connectivity and an on-site production team.
The Virtual Meetings option provides live streaming with a support crew that can assist with complimentary meeting amenities. Rates start S$2000++ (US$1,409) per hour, with a minimum booking of two hours.
For groups that wish to meet in-person, the Hybrid Meetings option offers all the above support, while catering to in-person attendees that can be spread across multiple venues within the hotel. Additional meeting rooms can also be rented from S$800++, or the Grand Ballroom from S$3,500++.
