Sharon Levingston is the new general manager of Tourism Portfolio, a Sydney-based DMC.
Levingston's career spans corporate travel, sporting groups and hospitality management, wholesale and retail travel sales.
Prior to this appointment, Levingston was senior general manager at The Events Authority. Under her leadership, the company on two occasions won the National Travel Industry Award for Best Business Events Agency.
She has also served an industry mentor in Meetings & Events Australia, and is a regular presenter and trainer for a portfolio of clients.
Announcing the appointment, Tourism Portfolio managing director, Donna Kessler, said Levingston is active in making connections, a stickler for fine details and thrives on the fast pace that the business events sector is known for.
