Augustine Chijioke "excited to be working with EIC", with education of chief importance in the coming years.
The Events Industry Council (EIC) has appointed Augustine Chijioke as its Director of Certification & Education.
Chijioke will direct EIC's Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) and Certified Meeting Professional healthcare subspecialty (CMP-HC) credentialing programme, ensuring their examinations adhere to test development and administration standards.
He will also continue to grow and develop the organisation’s educational products and services.
Previously, Chijioke was Director, Membership & Certification at Capital Association Management, where he was responsible for the management of several association certification boards namely AABC Commissioning Group, Energy Management Association and Associated Air Balance Council, in addition to serving as the programme and project manager on various initiatives.
While at the American Pharmacists Association, he held the positions of Manager, Database & Membership Operations Manager and Recertification & Health-System Specialist.
