The Grand Ballroom at Sheraton Johor Bahru will accommodate approximately 600 guests for sit-down dinners, opening in Q2 2025.
Sheraton Johor Bahru will open in Malaysia next year, the fourth Sheraton-branded hotel in the country.
The 345-room property, operated by Marriott International, will debut in the second quarter of 2025. It will offer versatile meeting facilities, including a studio, meeting rooms, and a Grand Ballroom that can accommodate approximately 600 guests for sit-down dinners.
Dining options will feature Daily Social, &More Lounge, Soo Noodles, and the Unspoken Bar, while leisure facilities include a pool and a gym.
Additionally, the hotel will be connected to a boutique mall, set to open at the end of 2025, enhancing the overall guest experience. The construction of the Johor-Bahru-Singapore Rapid Transit System (RTS), which will link the two cities, is also progressing on schedule and is expected to be operational in December 2026.
At present, the Johor Bahru-Singapore border is one of the busiest land border crossings in the world. With the new transport system, the journey between the two cities is expected to take an estimated five minutes.
