The 86-room urban property will feature a mix of accommodations, including 78 rooms and eight suites, with select units offering private pool terraces. The Capella Suite, spanning an expansive 228 sqm, will command views of Taipei 101, highlighting the city’s skyline.
The property was designed in collaboration with Tokyo-based Mori Building Group, with interior design by André Fu. Capella Taipei will be the eighth property in the Capella Hotels and Resorts portfolio, joining locations in Singapore, Sydney, Shanghai, Hainan, Hanoi, Ubud, and Bangkok.
Reservations for accommodation and dining at Capella Taipei will be available from 1 April 2025.
Event spaces and culinary offerings
Four versatile venues blend European elegance with modern functionality for corporate and private functions: the Grand Salon (150 sqm) features a lofty ceiling and lush garden views; the Drawing Room (90 sqm) offers a built-in LED screen; The Gallery (107 sqm) boasts floor-to-ceiling windows, an open kitchen and wine cellar; and two intimate Boardrooms (18 sqm each), designed with curved vaulted ceilings, technology and natural light.
Capella Taipei will house five distinct dining venues, each offering a curated culinary experience. Ember 28 is a Western dining concept specialising in fire-cooked cuisine, featuring 28-day dry-aged meats; Plume, the lobby lounge offering afternoon tea service, is set against a custom mural by French artist Elsa Jeandedieu, while Atelier Plume is a French patisserie-inspired space highlighting Taiwanese seasonal ingredients. The Rong Ju Cantonese restaurant focuses on traditional dim sum and wok-fired specialties, in addition to Mizue, a Japanese omakase restaurant designed with ryokan-inspired aesthetics.
Capella Taipei’s wellness facilities include a spa and relaxation areas, incorporating design elements focused on tranquility. The main pool terrace, located on the 14th floor, will provide uninterrupted city views.
