Sri Lanka’s Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts is spotlighting its range of MICE-friendly brands and properties at The Meetings Show Asia Pacific (TMS APAC) 2026, including what it terms “South Asia’s first fully integrated resort”.
The centrepiece of Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts' Colombo portfolio is Cinnamon Life at City of Dreams Sri Lanka, which it terms “South Asia’s first fully integrated resort (IR)”.
The IR brings together more than 14,864sqm of event space, multiple venues, entertainment and dining concepts within a single complex, enabling large-scale, multi-format events.
Besides the integrated offering, Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts has properties for a variety of event types and scales.
Cinnamon Grand and Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo – both five-star properties – continue to target high-profile conferences and banquets, with the latter providing waterfront backdrops for events.
In comparison, Cinnamon Red Colombo sits in the “lean luxury” category, introducing a more contemporary and design-led approach in a central location in Colombo. With a rooftop bar, dining spaces and affordable room rates, the property lends well to “new-age, agile gatherings”, said Nadia Issadeen, director, marketing, Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts.
“Together, the portfolio reflects a cohesive yet diverse offering – giving planners the flexibility to craft anything from grand, city-wide takeovers to more intimate, bespoke experiences, all within Colombo,” Issadeen said.
