First Sofitel in Riyadh includes a convention centre with 8,500sqm of business event spaces.
Sofitel Riyadh Hotel and Convention Centre has opened its doors, introducing one of the largest luxury hotel-based convention facilities in the Saudi capital.
Within the property, the Princess Nouf International Convention Centre offers 8,500sqm of flexible meeting and exhibition space. The pillarless ballroom – a whopping 4,031sqm in size with an 11-metre ceiling height – can accommodate up to 3,600 delegates in theatre seating, or 2,600 banquet guests. The ballroom also features a removable auditorium with 1,125 seats, as well as dedicated VIP entrance and club car access.
Located in the Ar Rahmaniyyah neighbourhood, around 35 minutes from King Khalid International Airport, the convention centre marks Sofitel’s first address in Riyadh and its debut convention-focused hotel in the capital.
Beyond its MICE facilities, the property houses 388 guestrooms and suites, alongside a selection of food and beverage outlets, including a signature restaurant, all-day dining venue, tea lounge and brasserie. Wellness amenities include a spa operated in partnership with Clarins, indoor pools and thermal facilities.
