Regala Skycity Hotel readies itself for MICE

Regala Skycity Hotel, a new 1,208-room business events hotel within SKYCITY – a mega retail, dining and entertainment hub opening by Q3 2024 next to Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) – is positioning itself for international and Greater Bay Area business.

Besides its proximity to Macau, Shenzhen and the HKIA, the hotel is also directly connected to AsiaWorld-Expo and 11 SKIES (Hong Kong’s largest all-in-one retail and entertainment landmark) via an enclosed footbridge. It is a short ride away from Hong Kong International Airport via the Airport Express, or the hotel’s free shuttle bus.

With 90 suites out of the 1,208-room count, Regala Skycity Hotel has the largest number of guest rooms on Hong Kong’s Lantau Island. The rooms offer views over SKYCITY and the picturesque South China Sea. There are cabana rooms with patios available for those wanting to host an event or BBQ.

The hotel’s landscaped rooftop Sky Deck offers panoramic views of Lantau and wellness facilities such as a Sky Gym, Jogging Track and an Organic Farm. The Sky Deck also features a cocktail bar, ideal for sunset relaxation time, or late-night star gazing. Other wellness offerings include an outdoor swimming pool and self-guided driving and hiking tours.

A series of “Music & Dance” Themed Festive Events will be launched to immerse guests in celebrations. The hotel presents diverse dining options from its three trendsetting and modern restaurants, from international, Southeast Asian, Indian, Japanese cuisines, to farm-to-table and vegan menus.

Events venues span over 2,800 sqm with 6.7m ceiling height. AV include six built-in LED video walls measuring 13.7 x 4.9 m, and six vertical LED panels, among others.

Two Banquet Halls and the Regala Grand Ballroom seat up to 76 tables. The ballroom’s unique ceiling design creates a special lighting experience, complemented with crystal chandeliers and giant pillars that also function as an LED display.
