Seibu Prince Hotels Worldwide has announced the opening of the Fukuoka Prince Hotel Momochihama this month, marking the first entry of its flagship Prince Hotel brand into the city.

Located along the Momochihama waterfront, the 20-storey hotel faces Hakata Bay and offers 229 ocean-facing guest rooms, including Superior Twins, Retreat Suites and two top-floor suites.

The property incorporates a compact meetings offering aimed at small to mid-sized groups, with three function rooms on the second floor – Umi (160sqm), Hikari (50sqm) and Kaze (50sqm) – that can be configured for corporate meetings, breakout sessions and private events.

Umi, the largest space, accommodates up to 100 guests for standing receptions, positioning it for seminars, briefings and social functions. The two smaller rooms are suited to boardroom-style meetings or breakout use, each hosting up to 24 guests.

Dining outlets include the lobby café, Yocastand, and all-day dining restaurant, Yocaterrace, with a focus on local produce and seafood.

Both dining venues offer terrace seating facing the bay, providing options for informal networking or post-event gatherings.

The top-floor Club Lounge allows terrace access, and can serve as an informal setting for smaller meetings or executive-level discussions.
