The Londoner Macao, Sands China’s British-themed integrated resort
(IR), has elevated its meetings with the redesign of its meeting spaces
to position itself for immersive event experiences.
With the completion of the IR redesign last year, it aims to bring
meetings to a different level on the Cotai Strip to cope with the
demands of virtual and hybrid meetings.
Turfan Ballroom, at Conrad Macao within the IR, has been transformed
into an innovative event space, “Smart Stage”, with built-in
technologies including five integral LED walls that serve as a digital
backdrop, and customisable lighting systems which can be configured
according to specific event needs. The rest of the meeting spaces
remain flexible.
Trends point toward increasing personalisation and the management has
crafted a “unique and compelling value proposition for each group”
bringing their delegates to Macau.
Kris Kaminsky, senior VP of hotel operations, Sands China, said:
“Certainly, we see business returning to Macau and in a big way. As we
look into 2024, we continue to see that desire for personalisation but
even more so, a desire for an integrated meeting experience, meaning
that whilst the purpose of the visit may still be the meeting, planners
and delegates are interested in exploring all that Macau has to offer.
