Accor has opened its midscale Novotel brand in Thailand's capital,
offering 226 keys and event spaces in Bangkok's up-and-coming Rangsit
neighbourhood.
Marking the 22nd Novotel address in Thailand, Novotel Bangkok Future
Park Rangsit appeals to "life-balance seekers that are either looking
for comforting spaces to relax and disconnect from their busy lives, or
reconnect and feel energised with social spaces while on the road for
work,” said Garth Simmons, Chief Executive Officer of Accor, Southeast
Asia, Japan & South Korea.
The lobby for instance serves as a social hub open to all at any time
of the day, or business guests could work in the comfort of their
rooms, or at the Premier Lounge.
Planners can book pick from two ballrooms which can be divided into
multiple venues, or three meeting rooms for medium corporate and social
events, training, and seminars. All venues are located on the lobby
floor for easy access, and feature natural sunlight, full-size LED
screens, and complimentary WiFi.
Amenities include a fitness centre, outdoor pool, and three F&B
restaurants offering all-day dining at Food Exchange, wood fired pizzas
and Italian fares at Alberto’s Pizzeria, or at the adjoining Sports Bar.
For other entertainment, golf courses aplenty surround the new build,
while the Future Park — one of the region's largest shopping malls — is
a five-minute walk away.
Nearby expressways and the State Railway of Thailand (SRT) Red Line
service also gives convenient access to the industrial parks in Pathum
Thani and the ancient city of Ayutthaya. Don Mueang International
Airport is about a 9km drive away.
