Mandarin Oriental is opening its second property in Dubai, located in the Wasl Tower on Sheikh Zayed Road.
The 303-metre tower has the region’s tallest ceramic facade, and can adjust to surrounding temperatures with its reflective and cooling technologies.
Set to open in October, the 259-room Mandarin Oriental features a rooftop helipad and a range of meeting spaces for large gatherings and more intimate events.
The Skyline meeting room spans 203sqm, catering for up to 150 guests, while the Mirage hosts up to 120. Smaller spaces include the Pinnacle for up to 40 people, Vista, suited to high-level discussions and board meetings and the Wellness room for up to 40, providing a calming environment for rejuvenating breaks.
The hotel has a choice of ten restaurants and bars, spanning French, Chinese, Greek, Italian cuisine. These include Chinese restaurant Yù & Mì located on the 36th floor, featuring a bar and restaurant inspired by the spirit of 1960s Hong Kong.
For wellness activities, guests can indulge in a spa spanning two floors, combining ancient healing practices with cutting-edge wellness technologies and treatments.
