Crowne Plaza Hobart has unveiled Centurion Sky, a new event space with glass ceiling, retractable bi-fold doors and panoramic views of the Tasmanian capital.

Launched since 28 August 2025, the newest space complements existing spaces including AURA Event space, Pandani, Huon, Centurion 1, 2, and 3, expanding the hotel’s collection to eight versatile indoor and outdoor venues.

“Centurion Sky, with its unrivalled views of Mount Wellington/Kunanyi is the all-weather space that Hobart has been craving. I cannot think of a more perfect venue to showcase the very best of Tasmanian hospitality,” said Scott Schaefer, general manager, Crowne Plaza Hobart.

Opened in July 2020, the hotel features 241 contemporary guest rooms, the city’s only exclusive Club Lounge, a core Restaurant and Bar showcasing Tasmanian produce, and The Deck, a casual alfresco dining space.
