Momentus Hotels & Resorts, an upscale hospitality brand under
Momentus Hospitality, has announced its strategic expansion into Darwin,
Australia, making its first international debut beyond Singapore.
Slated to open at the end of 2026, the hotel will be in close
proximity to the Darwin Convention Centre and will play a pivotal role
in the revitalisation of Darwin as a premier leisure and entertainment
destination, forming an integral component of the reimagined Darwin
Waterfront masterplan.
With 236 guest rooms, the new hotel will operate under local partner
CEL Australia’s own brand, and offers a variety of amenities for
corporate and leisure travellers – including two F&B outlets and
plans for a Club Lounge.
"This new project signifies a defining moment for Momentus Hotels
& Resorts, heralding the dawn of a new chapter as we venture beyond
the borders of Singapore for the very first time, said Angeline Tan,
vice president at SingHaiyi Hospitality and senior vice president at
Momentus Hospitality.
“As a dynamic and youthful brand, we have cemented our reputation as a
premier player in the hospitality space, aiming to consistently exceed
guest expectations. We're thrilled to showcase our expertise through
this venture in Australia and remain steadfast in upholding excellence
through our service and guests’ experiences.”
As the brand’s first property outside of Singapore, this hotel
development represents a significant milestone in Momentus Hotels &
Resorts' journey, reflecting its unwavering dedication to redefining
hospitality worldwide.
In the upcoming months, CEL plans to provide updates on its ongoing
design development progress as well as its intentions to engage with
local businesses and ensure a smooth initiation of the project.
