W Sydney is due to open in Q4 this year, welcoming delegates to Darling Harbour.
W Sydney unveils a sneak peak of its design-driven events venues
ahead of its opening in Q4 this year. Located on Sydney’s Darling
Harbour, the hotel is adjacent to the International Convention Centre,
and is a short walk from the financial, dining and retail precinct of
Barangaroo.
The entire fifth level of the property Is dedicated to event spaces
that ensure delegates enjoy a seamless experience across its high-tech
offerings.
The Great Room spans almost 600 sqm, with floor-to-ceiling windows
overlooking the harbour and bespoke lighting fixtures that remind
delegates of Sydney’s nighttime firework displays.

will have a choice of LED wall displays that can be configured into a
continuous single wall that is 14m wide and four metres high, or to have
two separate screens for smaller events.
It will be the venue to showcase Australia’s first installation for
the projection mapping of individual banquet tables, and
state-of-the-art LEDs for high-resolution images.
There is a total of 1300 sqm of eight configurable rooms fitted with
the latest technology for planners to envision their bold, creative
events. Managing the release of these new spaces is Director of Sales
and Marketing for W Sydney, Roxanne Markovina.
W Sydney has 585 guestrooms, suites and studio suites with city and
harbourside views. Facilities include a two-storey rooftop bar, a Level
29 WET Deck with heated infinity pool overlooking Darling Harbour, an
AWAY Spa, a FIT gym, an all-day dining restaurant and the Living Room
bar.
