Langham Hospitality Group signs three hotels in one plot

Langham Hospitality Group (LHG) has signed management agreements for three hotels on a single plot within Xiamen Seaworld, a mixed-use development on the western shore of Xiamen’s main island.

The hotels, which are slated to open in 2025, will each showcase a different brand from LHG’s portfolio: the Langham Hotels & Resorts, Cordis Hotels & Resorts, and Ying’nFlo; which serve the luxury, upscale, and midscale select service segments respectively. Joining the Langham Place, Xiamen, these additions will make the total number of LHG hotels in China to 20.

LHG CEO, Bob van den Oord, said, “The Langham, Cordis and Ying’nFlo will serve as iconic additions to Xiamen Seaworld, a visionary complex that we are proud to be part of. They will also bolster our presence in a wonderfully vibrant city that continues to show great promise.”

The plot itself sits in Dongdu Free Trade Zone that affords the two towers to house the hotels with ocean views and views of nearby Huweishan Park.

The Langham, Xiamen, Seaworld will occupy the larger of the towers, boasting a luxurious sky lobby on its top floor. The luxury hotel will featuring an expansive Grand Ballroom spanning 880 sqm, set to be one of the city's largest private event venues, alongside meeting roomscovering 1,200 sqm.

Guests will find an array of culinary and wellness delights, including a branch of the renowned Palm Court, renowned for its 150 years of serving afternoon tea in London; T’ang Court, an offshoot of the 3-star Michelin restaurant at The Langham, Hong Kong; and Chuan Spa, Langham’s iconic wellness sanctuary.

Cordis, Xiamen, which will be located in the second of the two towers, offers guests access to The Langham’s ballroom and meeting and event facilities. Similarly, guests from The Langham will benefit from a reciprocal arrangement that permits use of the Cordis’s 543 sqm ballroom and 755sqm of meeting facilities.

The second tower will house LHG’s first mainland China outpost of Ying’nFlo, its youth-oriented brand with guest rooms offering features such as adaptable furniture and modern digital tech. Guests can also mingle, work or relax at the property’s signature House of Ying’nFlo open space.
