Opening in stages starting 1 October, the 284-room Sunway Hotel Big Box highlights adventure activities that make full use of its 728 ha of natural space in Sunway City Iskandar Puteri, Johor.

Corporate groups will be able to create their own adventures within this eco paradise, which features cycling paths, hiking trails and other soon-to-be-revealed activities. Other adrenaline-fuelled activities such as ATV driving, go-karting, paintballing, indoor snowboarding and more can also be enjoyed at the nearby X-Park.

Besides adventure, there is also the option of exploring the Sunway Big Box Retail Park, a 46,000sqm open-air mall with retail, F&B and entertainment outlets, including 13 large warehouse-style concept stores.

During the soft-opening phase in December last year, guests were able to book the 32sqm Deluxe King or Twin Rooms, which can host up to two adults and two children, or the 57sqm Family Suites, which feature a separate living space, two bathrooms, and a bedroom with a Super King or Twin beds.

Guests may choose from five categories of: Deluxe Room, Deluxe Plus Room, Family Suite, Executive Suite and Premier Suite.

Event planners are able to utilise three flexible meeting rooms that can accommodate between 20 and 300 people, with a three-metre LED video wall and a mobile 86-inch interactive touch-screen Smart Panel to facilitate presentations.

The Sunway Hotel Big Box is strategically located for a seamless trip that takes groups swiftly from airport or ferry to hotel to activities and attractions. It is connected via a bridge to the Sunway Big Box Retail Park offering a variety of leisure activities, shopping and restaurant outlets.

It is also easily accessible via Senai International Airport, Puteri Harbour International Ferry Terminal, and the Coastal Highway Southern Link (CHSL) from Singapore, which is just 5km away.
