Hyatt has announced the opening of Hyatt Regency Xi’an Chanba, what it calls an “urban oasis”, next to the Xi’an International Convention and Exhibition Center.
With 2,676sqm of event spaces and 310 keys, the property is located in the Chanba Ecological District in northeast Xi’an, the capital of China’s Shaanxi province.
Guests have easy access to the Xi’an International Convention and Exhibition Center, but also the natural surroundings of Xi’an Chanba National Wetland Park Renowned sites such as the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda and the world-famous Terracotta Army are also nearby.
Regency Ballroom features more than 1,375sqm of pillarless space with a six-foot-high ceiling and a 450sqm foyer, making it one of the largest in the Chanba area. Suitable for banquets and large-scale conferences, the venue has a capacity for up to 1,000 banquet guests.
Other venues include the 800sqm Regency Salon, five function rooms and 180sqm outdoor lawn.
For dining options, there are eight private dining rooms providing an intimate setting for business lunches and celebrations, while guests can head to Chinese restaurant Xiang Yue, which serves up local and regional dishes showcasing Shaanxi and Jiangzhe flavours.
