Hyatt Regency opens in Zhuhai with 1,600 sqm of meeting spaces

New hotel targets business travel and meetings demand in the Greater Bay Area.

Hyatt Regency Zhuhai Gongbei opened its doors on 6 February, connecting leisure and business event travellers in the Greater Bay Area with its proxy to bordering Macao.

The hotel incorporates Lingnan architectural references inspired by the region’s culture, as well as coastal influences amid modern hospitality spaces.

The hotel offers 278 guestrooms and suites, alongside amenities such as a fitness centre, indoor heated swimming pool, and yoga studio.

Four dining options are available, ranging from the all-day dining Market Cafe, Xiangyue Chinese restaurant offering classic Cantonese cuisine and seafood dishes, a Lobby Bar, and the Regency Club which features views of Gongbei Port and city skyline.

A wide range of events can be accommodated with more than 1,600 sqm of meeting and event space, inclusive of a 625 sqm pillar-free grand ballroom, featuring a massive 50 sqm LED display for an immersive visual experience. The ballroom is flanked by a 350 sqm pre-function area offering city and bay views.

All venues come with independent lighting, sound, and climate control systems, along with audiovisual equipment, flexible connectivity interfaces, blackout curtains, and automated projection systems.
