Cat Ba is considered the adventure and eco-tourism capital of Vietnam, known for its sporting activities such as kayaking, rock climbing, trekking and mountain biking. The nearby Cat Ba National Park has over 160 species of birds, numerous reptiles, fish and sea turtles.

The 121-room Hôtel Perle d’Orient Cat Ba – MGallery is the 34th Accor property in Vietnam and the seventh MGallery boutique hotel, offering a stylish Vietnamese design combined with French glamour.

“As the first international five-star hotel in Cat Ba, we aim to redefine the concept of luxury tourism on the island as well as set the standard for high-profile meetings and events by providing superbly crafted spaces and superior services in a unique destination.”

Surrounded by cliffs and offering access to its own private beach, the hotel’s all-day dining restaurant, Indochine Kitchen, serves local fusion and internationally-inspired dishes. Japanese cuisine is available at Akoya. Light bites and cocktails can be enjoyed at the al fresco Rock’s Bar with views of Lan Ha Bay. Sea views can also be enjoyed from the rooftop of Vitality Bar. The Indochine Lounge serves signature cocktails.

The hotel’s rooftop houses a wellness centre with an outdoor pool, and its spa’s facial and massage treatments use local medicinal healing herbs.

For events, the Crystal Ballroom can host up to 190 guests, while the Tonkin Room can hold small meetings and private functions for up to 26 guests.
