Wyndham Singapore has launched on the former site of the Peninsula Excelsior Singapore Hotel.
Wyndham Singapore has opened on the former site of the Peninsula Excelsior Singapore Hotel, following a S$50 million (US$37.2 million) rebrand and renovation.
The hotel, located on Coleman Street near City Hall, features 591 newly-refurbished rooms with modern interiors, offering views of Marina Bay or Fort Canning Hill, and the ‘Study’, a brand-new executive lounge offering exclusive benefits to Executive Floor guests.
There are six spaces for meetings and events, suited to both intimate gatherings and large-scale events, with the largest catering for up to 500. All offer high-speed wi-fi and advanced audio-visual technology. Spaces include the Ballroom, which can host up to 300 for banquets or 500 theatre-style, the Patio space for up to 50 for cocktails and studio spaces for smaller gatherings.
Dining options include Jaspé, blending French and Asian gastronomy and Bentley’s, a sophisticated lobby bar serving crafted cocktails and gourmet bites. A further restaurant and bar will open on the top floor in mid-2025, featuring Marina Bay waterfront views, an exclusive bar and culinary creations and private dining.

The hotel originally opened as the Peninsula Hotel in 1974, before merging with Excelsior Hotel in 2000.
