Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) has announced the opening of a new office in Singapore as part of its international expansion strategy.
Located in Singapore’s Central Business District, the office will serve as a hub to strengthen ties with the business community and promote Macao as the “World Centre of Tourism and Leisure” across Southeast Asia.
GEG management attended a gala dinner at JW Marriott Singapore to mark the launch, alongside guests including Hong Kong celebrities Kenneth Ma and Elaine Yiu, who performed during the evening.
Elmen Lee, director of integrated resort services at GEG, introduced the group’s flagship properties – Galaxy Macau, Broadway Macau and StarWorld Hotel – at the event. He said: “Singapore has always been an important source market for Macao. The taste and sophistication of Singaporean travellers naturally align with Macau's experiential tourism offering. We firmly believe that Galaxy Entertainment Group's diverse offerings will attract more Singaporean visitors to visit us and explore more.”
GEG stated that the office will support tourism, as well as MICE inquiries.
The group added that its increased presence in Singapore will help curate travel experiences tailored to regional travellers, while strengthening connections with industry stakeholders.
