SINGAPORE - Fairmont Hotel's revamped South Tower has reopened following an extensive transformation.
Under the creative eyes of award-winning hospitality interior design firm Hirsch Bedner Associates (HBA), the new South Tower is now equipped with upgraded amenities, redesigned lift lobbies, and vibrant guestroom corridors leading to the 403 rooms ranging from 45sqm to 190sqm.
Rooms feature a calming union of dark wood panels, herringbone tweeds and opulent leathers, accentuated with art pieces and bespoke furniture celebrating Singapore's heritage. For a touch of unique, the bar has been positioned behind the bed - hidden in a detailed black lacquer cabinet framed by leather panels and an antique mirror.
In continued efforts towards sustainability, Fairmont Singapore is the first in the brand to install a Swisspro fresh water dispenser offering access to unlimited filtered hot and cold water in all rooms.
Room design has also fully tapped into the late I.M. Pei's unique circular design of the original Fairmont Singapore, so hotel guests get to enjoy unparalleled yet unique views of the city and harbour.
Other refreshed areas include the Fairmont Gold Lounge on the 25th floor, framed by an open kitchen counter and perfect for leisurely hangouts or business meetings alike. The hotel's popular Italian restaurant, Prego, has also reopened after a facelift, with head chef Mauro Sanna serving up classics made with fresh produce and time-tested recipes.
The luxury hotel's 778 keys across two towers, which includes access to 13 F&B options and 108,000sqm of meeting space is now open to public, with a special opening offer for direct bookings only. All confirmed bookings made by Dec 31, 2019 for stays valid through Dec 31,2020 will enjoy complimentary buffet breakfast, and guaranteed late check out till 2pm.
