Hilton has announced the opening of Conrad Chongqing, marking the
brand’s first Conrad Hotels & Resorts in Chongqing and the group’s
700th hotel in the Greater China region.
Owned by Chongqing Jafa Group, the hotel is situated in the heart of
the Nan’an District, in the Jiafa Cross-Border Trade Center, and
surrounded by natural attractions steeped in the area’s culture and
history.
The hotel is also well suited to meet business and leisure needs,
with proximity to the International Convention and Exhibition Center and
Jiefangbei commercial district. It is also near the Yangtze River
Cableway and scenic Hongyadong area.
Conrad Chongqing will feature 275 rooms including 26 suites, spanning
the 38th to 55th floor of the Jiafa Cross-Border Trade Center. Dining
experiences on the 52nd and 53rd floors spotlight local cuisine with a
modern flair:
YU Chinese Restaurant features 10 private dining rooms and has a
seasoned culinary team that reinterprets Sichuan classics such as fish
slices with sun-dried mandarin orange peel and tender braised beef ribs.
The PEAK is an all-day dining restaurant that serves up in sumptuous buffet spreads and contemporary a la carte menus.
Guests at MIST Lobby Bar can sip on exquisite teas and a curated
selection of champagne while taking in the sweeping views of the city
underfoot. The bar also houses 3652, a hidden speakeasy with buttery
leather furnishings and emerald marble accents, where guests indulge in
bespoke cocktails shaken up by intuitive mixologists.
For meetings and events, the hotel has close to 3,000sqm of
pillarless spaces, and a 780sqm outdoor sky garden that overlooks the
city. The hotel also offers various spaces for relaxation and wellness
with a well-equipped fitness centre and a heated indoor infinity pool.
