JW Marriott has made its Central Vietnam debut with the opening of the JW Marriott Cam Ranh Bay Resort & Spa.
The 22-ha property offers 203 keys – including 27 one- to four-bedroom villas – and direct access to Bai Dai Beach, a 10-km stretch of shoreline lapped by turquoise seas.
Breezy corporate meets
Well-equipped for meetings and events, the hotel’s Grand Ballroom offers 518sqm of event space and accommodates up to 572 guests theatre-style or 360 for a banquet or reception. For smaller gatherings, the ballroom can be divided into three.
Complementing the ballrooms are three meeting rooms, each ranging from 62sqm to 71sqm, seating up to 63 theatre-style or 24 for boardroom or U-shape discussions.
Local charm, incentive delight
JW Marriott Cam Ranh Bay Resort & Spa is also suitable for incentives. On its sprawling grounds nestled in nature, there is a live pottery studio The Pottery Club linked to its all-day dining restaurant Clay Craft. The Pottery Club aims to preserve and reinterpret Champa pottery, particularly the ancient techniques of Bau Truc Village. Guests can discover the time-honoured traditions of local craftspeople, such as sun-drying and open-fire baking, as they learn how to create authentic earthenware in lively, hands-on classes guided by skilled pottery masters.
In addition, Vietnamese cooking classes are available at the JW Garden, which also cultivates herbs and vegetables that supply the resort's restaurants.

Besides Clay Craft, F&B concepts include Seafood Grill, Bayside Bistro, Ocean Bar, the Baking Company and The Pool Bar.
