Following a 10-million baht (US$309,700) investment, The Athenee Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Bangkok is now home to the Thai capital’s largest LED screen system.

Extending up to 27m wide and 5m high, the new screens are installed in the Crystal Hall Ballroom (1,500 guests) and the Grand Hall Ballroom (1,200 guests), delivering a production-ready visual platform capable of hosting international conferences, corporate summits, large-scale product launches, and immersive brand activations.

The fine-pitch P2.6 system delivers ultra-high-definition clarity at 800 nits of brightness, optimised specifically for ballroom lighting conditions.

Based on the event size, planners can resize, reposition or split configurations to match agenda formats or concepts, picking from three dimensions: 9m, 18m and 27m in width.

Advanced video processing supports ultra-wide scaling, high-resolution playback, and multiple HDMI 2.0 inputs, ensuring seamless integration for complex, multi-source productions.

The installation also signals the luxury hotel’s commitment to sustainability, since the panels significantly reduces energy consumption and eliminates the need for disposable printed panels, vinyl installations, and temporary scenic constructions – compared to traditional projection systems and physical stage backdrops.

Additionally, event content can be fully digital, reusable, and adaptable in real time, lowering material waste and post-event disposal.

“Today’s global planners expect world-class production standards within premium hospitality settings. Our LED infrastructure enables us to meet those expectations while improving operational efficiency and sustainability,” says Blair Fowler, general manager of the hotel.
