Ascott’s co-living brand lyf makes its debut in China with the
opening of lyf Mid-Town Hangzhou, which offers 118 keys directly
opposite the Hangzhou International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
A hybrid lodging solution that offers serviced residences, hotels and
co-living apartments, accommodation is split into 'One of a Kind', 'One
of a Kind Plus' and 'Side by Side' studios, 'lyf Style' thematic
studios as well as 'Two of a Kind' and 'All Together' apartments.
Business travellers can make use of the 'Connect' co-working and
lounge zone, supported by long-term stay amenities including a kitchen
and laundromat.
Against a pandemic backdrop, guests can use the 'Discover ASR' mobile
app for their digital room keys, perform mobile check-in and out, make
contactless payments, interact with other guests via the in-app social
wall and communicate with lyf Guards.
Located in the Gongshu district, lyf Mid-Town Hangzhou guests can
access a shopping mall nearby, book events at the Hangzhou International
Convention and Exhibition Centre, with greater accessibility expected
when a new train station opens in 1Q 2022 a short walk away.
The accommodation is also near the UNESCO World Heritage site of
Grand Canal, noted for its historical relics, or guests can spend time
at the famous West Lake area — offering boat cruises, biking, scenic
walks against the backdrop of Leifeng Pagoda, on top of retail, dining
and nightlife options.
The Hangzhou International Airport and the Hangzhou East train
station are about a 45-minute and 30-minute drive away, respectively.
