InterContinental Halong Bay Resort has opened in Vietnam, located in the Ha Long Marina Urban Area, the gateway to Ha Long city and the Unesco World Heritage site of Halong Bay,
The 174-room resort, which opened in July, houses a convention centre with a range of meeting spaces. These include the Tonkin Ballroom, which can host 810 for receptions or 1,050 people theatre-style and the more intimate Cat Ball Ballroom, catering for 250 for cocktails.
A range of other meeting spaces are available, with four versatile rooms as well as outdoor venue options, including a manicured garden with a capacity for 330 guests and a terrace accommodating up to 390 persons for receptions.
Signature restaurants include Roku & Sky Bar, located on the 10th floor of the resort’s rooftop and inspired by the Land of the Rising Sun, with a menu of specialty Japanese cuisine. Yulong Mansion is a two-story venue offering a modern Cantonese dining experience, with multiple private dining rooms and an open kitchen allowing guests to watch chefs at work.
Guests can also indulge in wellness treatments at the spa ranging from healing facial rituals to nurturing, sensory body therapies, while beach activities include volleyball, outdoor archery and three outdoor pools.
The resort is located two hours from Hanoi’s Noi Bai International Airport.
