Macao’s robust hospitality sector is set to grow significantly in the coming years, positioning the region as an even more attractive destination for leisure and MICE tourism. With exciting new debuts like The Londoner Grand and plans for over 4,000 hotel rooms to be built, Macao is strengthening its position as a leading hub for meetings and conventions.
A key development in Macao’s expanding business tourism infrastructure is The Londoner Grand, which is set to elevate the city’s MICE offerings. With its suite-only accommodation Paiza Grand, the hotel will cater to high-end corporate clients and provide a sophisticated setting for business events. These exclusive suites offer luxurious and spacious (between 125 and 258sqm) accommodations, making it an ideal venue for executives attending corporate meetings or high-profile events.

Currently, The Londoner Grand is on track to offer 2,405 keys, including 1,500 suites. Those accommodation units of the Londoner Grand began opening in phases from September 2024, through to the second quarter of this year. Capella at Galaxy Macau, meanwhile, is scheduled to open in 2Q this year.
Macao’s expanding hotel capacity further strengthens its appeal to event planners. According to recent data disclosed by the city’s Land and Urban Construction Bureau, four hotel projects are under construction and a further 10 undergoing government approval as of the three months to December 31, which will add 4,229 new hotel rooms to the city.
