Find the dining stars of Hong Kong and Macau

Give groups a taste of the finer things at these Michelin-starred restaurants in Hong Kong and Macau.

Incentive and corporate groups visiting Macau and Hong Kong can look forward to dining at some top-class restaurants, with several eateries at MICE hotels and resorts recognised in the latest edition of the Michelin Guide Hong Kong & Macau.

The 15th anniversary edition features 15 restaurants awarded or promoted to one, two or three Michelin stars. This includes Lai Ching Heen, located in the IHG-owned Regent Hotel Hong Kong in Victoria Harbour. It specialises in Cantonese cuisine and has gained two MIchelin stars, with private dining available for groups. Rùn at the St Regis Hong Kong also gained two stars and offers contemporary Chinese cuisine.

The restaurants newly awarded with one Michelin star include Noi, based at the Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong, which offers sublime Italian cuisine, and Kappo Rin at the Landmark Mandarin Oriental, with a menu featuring seasonal Japanese dishes.

In Macau, the Huaiyang Garden, with celebrity master chef Zhou Xiaoyan at the helm and located at The Londoner Macau, is the only restaurant in the destination to be newly awarded with one Michelin star. The restaurant specialises in sophisticated Huaiyang fare, with dishes featuring fresh river fish shipped from the region twice a week.

A total of 95 restaurants were recognised with Michelin stars in the Guide, with 78 in Hong Kong and 17 in Macau, while a total of 72 food establishments were awarded a Bib Gourmand, with 65 in Hong Kong and seven in Macau.

The sustainable commitment of one new establishment – Mora in Hong Kong was also recognised, with the restaurant awarded a Michelin Green Star. Ta Vie in Hong Kong, helmed by chef Hideaki Sato, received three Michelin stars.
