The Traveller DMC has announced the formation of its Special Projects
Division, which will be spearheaded by seasoned industry experts
Dominic Ong and Jennifer Tan.
Dominic Ong, who joins as consultant for the Special Projects
Division, brings a wealth of experience from his work at leading
regional DMCs, while Jennifer Tan, stepping into the role of vice
president, has deep expertise in marketing and project management.
Shirley To, a familiar face at The Traveller, rejoins the team as
manager of the Special Projects Division, with over seven years of
experience in sales and operations within the tourism and hospitality
industry.
This new division is set to enhance the Singapore-based DMC’s larger-scale MICE business, with a particular focus on the Indian and European markets.
The Special Projects Division aims to provide innovative, tailored
solutions that meet the unique demands of larger groups from these key
regions. By doing so, the division will expand The Traveller’s MICE
offerings and solidify the DMC’s position in the MICE sector.
“The addition of Dominic, Jennifer, and Shirley to our team
significantly bolsters our capabilities in the MICE sector,” said Yvonne
Low, executive director of The Traveller DMC. “Their expertise not only
enhances our market position but also reinforces our commitment to
being the go-to partner for MICE and group leisure services. We are
confident that together, we will be able to drive new opportunities and
fuel our expansion."
