ATPI is capitalising on Asia’s growing corporate travel market and booming sectors such as AI and renewable energy.
ATPI, the UK-based corporate travel and event management business has opened new offices in mainland China, Taipei, and South Korea and strengthened its presence in India and Indonesia.
ATPI’S new offices in Shanghai, Taipei, and Seoul – and four additional offices in India, and one in Balikpapan, Indonesia – are in response to data charting the steady growth of the Asian corporate travel market. It says expansion will enable it to take advantage of Asia’s fast-growing business travel sector, delivering advanced, tech-driven solutions tailored to the evolving needs of globally connected companies.
In mainland China for example, ATPI expects to boost travel demand in the AI, electric vehicle and renewable energy sectors, while the focus in Taiwan is on the destination’s technology-led, export-focused economy In Indonesia, the new office in Balikpapan positions ATPI in the heart of the oil, gas, and mining industries, while India includes expanded operations in Chennai, tapping into Southern India’s booming IT sector.
ATPI has also identified increasingly sophisticated regional needs within Asia-Pacific and will work with both regional and international clients through a robust global network and local partnerships. It says strengthening its presence in dynamic markets such as India and Indonesia allows ATPI to deliver tailored travel solutions that support local businesses and multinational organisations through strong, regionally rooted alliances.
Ali Hussain, managing director at ATPI Asia said: “Our growth underlines ATPI’s longstanding commitment to Asia’s rapidly evolving travel and events landscape. The new markets are of strategic importance as they permit us to fully cater to our regional clients, share our know-how on domestic market essentials and support them with customised, industry-leading solutions.”
