The Specialized World Stamp Exhibition, one of the world's major philatelic events, will be held at Venetian Macao Conference & Exhibition Centre in 2026.

Taking place from 26 June to 1 July 2026, the event will feature around 50 booths and will be jointly organised by the Macao Post and Telecommunications Bureau and the Macao Philatelic Association, under the patronage of the Fédération Internationale de Philatélie, and sponsored by Federation of Inter-Asian Philately.

Attendees will include representatives from postal administrations, stamp dealers, philatelic experts and philatelic enthusiasts from different countries and regions around the world, showcasing their collections and competing for various philatelic awards.

Lau Wai Meng, director of the Macao Post and Telecommunications Bureau took part in a signing ceremony in Shanghai earlier this month, formally marking the beginning of the preparation stage of the event. Speaking at the time, Lau Wai Meng said that following the success of the Macao 2018 - 35th Asian International Stamp Exhibition, held in Macao, it is now of great significance that a specialised world stamp exhibition is to take place in this city for the first time.

Macao said it is aiming for the exhibition to serve as an opportunity to build a bridge of friendship between different regions, strengthen international philatelic exchanges and cooperation, and promote the legacy and innovation of world philatelic culture.
