Innovation Faceoff 2026: finalists, judges revealed

Five entrants have been shortlisted to pitch their best tech innovations at the Business Travel Show APAC.

Five business travel innovators will pitch their best technology solutions in front of a panel of judges and travel buyers at the Innovation Faceoff 2026, taking place in Singapore this April.

Returning as part of the second edition of Business Travel Show Asia Pacific (BTS APAC), the Innovation Faceoff 2026 will feature five forward-looking technology solutions that are set to move the needle in corporate travel.

Finalists will make their presentations on 14 April 2026 at 9.45am in the Knowledge Arena, and the winner will be announced at 4pm on 15 April, also in the Knowledge Arena.

This year’s finalists are:

  • China Smart Mice Group – Founded in 2015, the Beijing-headquartered MICE integrated service provider delivers end-to-end digital meeting management. It integrates proprietary platforms, green resources and a 40,000-strong execution network.

  • FCM – One of the largest global business travel management companies with worldwide reach in almost 100 countries. It is the flagship business division of the Australia Stock Exchange-listed Flight Centre Travel Group.

  • Nowadays – AI-powered meetings and events platform that automates venue sourcing, negotiations, and event management for corporate teams. Nowadays won the Business Travel Show America Innovation Faceoff 2025.

  • Thrust Carbon – A company that combines emissions data with real-time decision support tools and specialist advisory services to help enterprises understand their travel impact and influence choices at key decision points.

  • TruTrip – A digital travel management company that integrates policy, commercial logic and operational infrastructure into a single digital OS. It seeks to solve what it identifies as three critical points of failure in complex oranisations: leakage, waste, and process friction.

On the judging panel are:

  • Adeline Kang, director, JCAP operations, Travel Meetings Card & Fleet – MSD International

  • Priyanka Jakhmola, global travel director – Accenture

  • Terence Eng, product director – Trip.Biz and winner of the Business Travel Show Asia Pacific 2025 Innovation Faceoff

  • Elizabeth West, VP content – The BTN Group

While the judges will determine the winner, there will also be a People’s Choice award voted by the audience of business travel buyers.

BTS APAC 2026 will be held at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore.
