In its second edition, the IATA World Data Symposium (WDS) is set to take place in Shangri-La Singapore on 8-9 April 2026.
The inaugural symposium was first staged in Dublin, Ireland, hosted by Aer Lingus.
WDS 2026 will spotlight data, technology and cybersecurity developments in aviation.
As the event’s official airline partner, Singapore Airlines will join the discussions with contributions from CEO Goh Choon Phong and SVP information technology George Wang.
Attendees can also expect to hear from the IATA team comprising Willie Walsh, director general, Kim Macaulay, SVP information & data, chief information & data officer, and Marie Owens Thomsen, SVP sustainability and chief economist.
The speakers' programme will also feature leaders from Malaysia Aviation Group, Thai Airways, Cargolux, Japan Airlines, DHL Global Forwarding, Changi Airport Group, Incheon International Airport Corporation, Globant, Netskope and Confluent.
Exhibitors include Emu Analytics, a UK-based geospatial data analytics specialist, IGT Solutions, a global digital transformation company focused on the travel industry; and SAP, a business management software company.
