The Asian Pacific Association for the Study of the Liver Single Topic Conference (APASL STC) will take place in Tokyo in 2025.
The conference, running for two days from 2 October 2025 at the Toshi Center Hotel, is expected to attract 700 delegates including 200 from overseas, from more than 20 countries and regions. APASL has held various conferences since 1978 and acts as a platform for the leading researchers in the region to present the latest research in the field of hepatology.
A strong bid from the APASL STC 2025 Tokyo was instrumental in bringing the conference to Tokyo as well as in-kind and financial support from the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and the Tokyo Convention & Visitors Bureau.
APASL was founded in Singapore in 1978 and has since become one of the world's leading organisations advancing research in areas related to hepatology and the largest scientific body in the field of liver diseases in the Asia Pacific region. APASL holds various periodic conferences/symposia where leaders in the field are invited as speakers to present the latest cutting-edge research in hepatology.
