IBTM World’s Association Leaders Forum will be addressing pertinent topics including AI integration, burnout prevention, and upskilling, among others, as leaders gather for the conference this November in Barcelona.

Created in partnership with the European Society of Association Executives (ESAE) and sponsored by the Amsterdam Convention Bureau, the programme will feature the theme of “People.Power.Potential”, with a clear focus on balancing executive governance and risk management with innovating and adapting to global challenges in order to build a thriving association industry of the future.

Taking place on the first day of the conference, the Association Leaders Forum will also seek to understand how best to prevent burnout while equipping team members with the right tools and upskilling for them to perform in an efficient and rewarding manner, and how association leaders can guide their members and staff in navigating tumultuous geopolitical environments.

Speakers will include Martin Boyle, CEO, IAPCO; Liesbeth Switten, secretary general at AIB-Association of Issuing Bodies and ESAE vice-president; Dianna Steinbach, senior vice-president growth, Institute of Management Accountants; and Bobby Peralta, CEO, Philippine Council of Associations & Association Executives.

With over 130 association professionals set to attend, the conference sessions will comprise panel discussions, provocative debates, and case studies alongside networking breaks with peers.
