Singapore Airshow 2026 recorded its highest-ever trade attendance of 65,000 in its 10th edition.

Held at the Changi Exhibition Centre from 3 to 6 February, the biennial show brought together more than 1,100 exhibiting companies and trade visitors from over 130 countries and regions.

Across the four dedicated trade days, the show hosted approximately 1,300 high-level delegate meetings, with industry players citing robust activity across commercial aviation, defence, MRO, advanced air mobility and emerging technologies.

Reflecting strong exhibitor confidence, nearly 95% of participating companies have already indicated interest in returning for the 2028 edition.

Deals, announcements and firsts

Among the headline deals made at this year’s event was GE Aerospace’s US$300 million investment to expand engine repair capabilities in Singapore through 2029.

Multiple memoranda of understanding were also signed between Singapore’s Economic Development Board and global aerospace players, spanning MRO expansion, technology centres of excellence and next-generation R&D, the oranisers said in a press statement.

The event also served as a launchpad for market-shaping partnerships and first-time showcases. ST Engineering unveiled advanced unmanned systems and ground vehicles, alongside new collaborations with Shield AI and Airbus Defence and Space, underscoring the growing convergence of aerospace, defence and autonomous technologies in the region.

Biggest AeroForum, AeroCampus

AeroForum, the show’s thought-leadership platform, delivered its most extensive programme to date. Over three days, more than 50 speakers across 15 sessions engaged close to 1,000 delegates, tackling issues ranging from cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and sustainable aviation to advanced air mobility and global defence outlooks. The programme was organised in collaboration with industry partners including Alton Aviation Consultancy, Aviation Week Network, Bloomberg, FlightGlobal and NexAvian.

Talent development also featured prominently. AeroCampus also expanded to its largest edition yet, hosting 23 exhibitors and engaging 2,500 students, with first-time participation from overseas aviation training institutions highlighting growing regional collaboration in workforce development.

Anniversary fanfare

To commemorate 20 years of the Singapore Airshow, organisers introduced AeroLens, a curated photography exhibition capturing defining moments from past editions and reflecting the evolution of global aviation and defence through the decades.

Following the trade segment, the event opened to the public for Weekend@Airshow on 7–8 February, drawing 60,000 visitors and featuring eight aerial performances – six by international air forces and two by commercial aircraft manufacturers. Besides the 30 aircraft on display, visitors also had access to pilot meet-and-greets, hands-on cockpit experiences, aviation-themed craft stations, technology demonstrations, and other interactive activities.
