The Asia Carbon Conference 2025 (ACC 2025) is set to make its return from 29 to 30 May 2025 at the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK), reinforcing Sarawak’s commitment to a sustainable, low-carbon future. Organised by Argus Media and hosted by the Ministry of Energy and Environmental Sustainability Sarawak (MEESty), the conference will bring together industry leaders, policymakers, and sustainability advocates to explore the latest developments in carbon markets, net-zero strategies, and clean energy innovations.

The event, expected to draw over 400 delegates, will be officiated by The Right Honourable Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri (Dr) Abang Haji Abdul Rahman Zohari bin Tun Datuk Abang Haji Openg, Premier of Sarawak, who will also deliver a keynote address outlining Sarawak’s vision for carbon management and sustainable economic growth.

ACC 2025 will feature a distinguished lineup of speakers from Singapore, India, Australia, and the European Union (EU), tackling critical topics such as corporate climate responsibility, sustainable energy transitions, and the integration of ASEAN’s carbon markets.

A key highlight of the event is the VIP Government Fireside Chat, which will explore the potential of an integrated ASEAN marketplace for carbon and renewable energy. This session will offer exclusive insights from government officials and industry leaders on regulatory frameworks and emerging opportunities in the region’s sustainability landscape.

Sarawak has been at the forefront of balancing economic growth with environmental stewardship, positioning itself as a regional leader in clean energy and carbon management. YB Datuk Dr Hazland, Sarawak’s Deputy Minister of Energy and Environmental Sustainability, will underscore the state’s ambitious sustainability initiatives, aimed at driving investment in carbon trading, clean energy, and nature-based climate solutions.

Early bird registration for ACC 2025 is now available, offering special discounted rates for participants who register before 9 May 2025.
