Malaysia Business Events Week 2024 has kicked off for the ninth year running as the flagship event
organised by the Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB),
with this year’s show centred around the theme of “Business Events and
Technology with Sustainability (BEATS)”.
MBEW2024, officially launched today by Dr. Yasmeen binti Yasim,
Deputy Secretary-General (Tourism) of the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and
Culture Malaysia, is set to run until August 22. The event has attracted
around 300 local and international delegates, making it a focal point
for top industry professionals to discuss and explore the integration of
technology and sustainable practices within the business events sector.
“This year’s theme signifies the call for integration of sustainable
practices with technological advancements in the business events
industry,” said Mohammad Isa Abdul Halim, director, meeting &
support incentives of MyCEB.
“Our main goal is for delegates to take away knowledge and insights
on innovation and how business events can better integrate
sustainability into our practices. This process can further progress
rapidly with collaborations fostered amongst stakeholders, driving
positive change and advancing a more sustainable global economy at a
quicker pace.”
