The Mactan Expo Center is set to open in the Philippines by the end of 2025, just in time for the ASEAN Tourism Forum 2026, which will take place in Cebu next January.
Located within Megaworld’s 30-hectare Mactan Newtown township in Lapu-Lapu City, the two-storey convention centre is expected to serve as the host venue for the ASEAN Tourism Forum taking place in January.
The venue is a 15-minute drive from Mactan-Cebu International Airport and features a 2,600 sqm convention hall, a 1,426 sqm pre-function area, three VIP rooms, and a dedicated showroom.
On the mezzanine level are two meeting rooms, a pre-function space, and an open-air balcony ideal for networking and receptions.
Set against Cebu’s coastal backdrop, the new Mactan Expo Center is poised to enhance the region’s standing as a leading MICE destination.
