IHG Hotels & Resorts offer a variety of meeting and event offerings, including flexible meeting and event venues as well as non-traditional venues such as beachfront, beach square, in-villa, rooftop and more, and creative and customed menus to adapt to meeting guests’ dietary requirements such incorporating local and organic ingredients.
With demand for sustainable meetings and events increasing, we launched ‘Meeting for Good’ in 2023, which was created in support of IHG’s Journey to Tomorrow responsible business plan. The programme reinforces IHG’s commitment to look after the world around us while strengthening the competitive advantage of our hotels through the provision of a Sustainable Meetings Playbook.
We’ve also introduced tactical offers specifically designed to offer planners more of what matters to them. Our current offer under IHG Business Rewards allows planners to earn two times the usual number of points and bonus elite night credits.
The 576-room voco Seoul Myeongdong opened in September 2024, offering an indoor pool, group coach bays, and versatile event venues with natural light.IHG’s dedicated meetings platform provides planners with a wealth of information in one central place. Planners simply enter their preferred event details, and a customisable dashboard of options is summarised for them – including a breakdown of IHG hotels in the area that meet their criteria, the hotel’s meeting room sizes, number of guestrooms, images, and even destination details such as average temperatures and flight availability. This helps planners avoid costs associated with research and shortlisting venues, with request for pricing a one click process. Planning and booking tools such as EasyGroup, which allows bookers to share links and manage their rooms booking at no extra cost.
