Placed in the heart of Manila’s Bayside, Lanson Place Mall of Asia offers ease of accessibility for guests and planners.
Lanson Place Mall of Asia, a hybrid hotel and serviced residence,
officially opened its doors last week in Manila’s Pasay City, making a
stunning arrival to the city’s hospitality scene.
Although originally intended for travellers on extended stays,
Michael Hobson, CEO of Lanson Place Hospitality Management shares that
the serviced residences operator has recently pivoted to cater to guests
who are eager to enjoy the Mall of Asia complex’s booming attractions.
“As time went on, we saw the Bayside area becoming a popular
destination for families and weekend leisure,” said Hobson, in an
exclusive interview with M&C Asia. “So, we decided to offer
our serviced residences to this other market without abandoning our
MICE customers. In fact, during the short time that we’ve been open,
industries such as pharmaceuticals have shown interest in what we have
to offer.”
Hobson is also particularly proud of the residence’s pillarless 676
sqm ballroom, which can seat 350 to 370 guests in a theatre-style
setting – this feature, alongside the residence’s infinity pool, has
been lauded by Bob Zozobrado, president of the Tourism Congress of the
Philippines, as “the best”.
The pillarless Saffron Grand Ballroom can host 180 people for conferences or 370 people in a banquet setup. The hotel facilities include high-speed Wi-Fi connectivity for work
or leisure, a fitness centre, a rooftop infinity pool and five dining
options. Guests are free to choose from chef-curated dishes at Cyan
Modern Kitchen, premium high tea at Madeleine High Tea on weekends,
light fare and cocktails at EDGE Pool Bar, relaxed casual dining at BLK
12 Café and Bar, or grab a quick healthy meal to go from Bytes.
Positioned only 6km away from Ninoy Aquino International Airport,
Lanson Place Mall of Asia is a stone’s throw away from amenities and
entertainment, with easy access to entertainment spaces such as the SM
Mall of Asia, Mall of Asia Arena, SMX Convention Center Manila,
restaurants, office buildings and a transportation hub that can take
visitors to and from any part of Metro Manila.
Based in Hong Kong, Lanson Place Hospitality Management Limited also
boasts a presence in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Shanghai and Chengdu, with
plans to expand to Melbourne in the near future. Its current fixture in
the Philippines is the largest to join the group, with 247 guest rooms
and 142 serviced residences.
