Sands China [Stand G20] is once again bringing the spirit of its properties to life through an immersive trade show experience at The Meetings Show Asia Pacific, mirroring the group’s evolving lifestyle brand.

Stephanie Tanpure, vice president of sales at Sands China, shared that their signature booth is drawing strong engagement from attendees. “We’re really emulating our properties and where we’re going with our lifestyle brand. It’s really about welcoming people home and inviting them to be our guest.”

At the heart of Sands’ booth is a sleek, hospitality-forward bar designed to reflect the group’s world-class F&B credentials. “It’s a statement piece,” Tanpure said, and the same booth concept will be featured across major international trade shows in the U.S., Europe, and Asia.

The Sands team at TMS APAC 2025 is also using the show to emphasise a growing trend in the meetings industry: demand for unique, immersive spaces outside the traditional ballroom. “We have an abundance of ballroom and meeting space in both Macao and Singapore,” said Tanpure, “but clients are increasingly looking for venues that energise and inspire. Our booth reflects that – it’s a preview of how we bring our properties to life.”

In the coming year, she noted, both Sands Singapore and Sands Macao will reveal new ways to activate these unconventional spaces for MICE groups.

From The Londoner Grand to NBA China Games

Among the big updates is the recent opening of The Londoner Grand in Macau, the most premier offering within the Londoner complex. “It has a British look and feel, and it’s all about creating a luxury home-away-from-home for our guests,” said Tanpure. “It’s perfectly positioned for high-end international and domestic MICE groups, and it integrates seamlessly with the rest of our properties, allowing us to scale for large events.”

Sands China is also looking ahead to October 2025, when it will host the NBA China Games at the Venetian Macao’s arena. The NBA event is expected to draw a diverse crowd, with a weekend of experiences designed to showcase Macau’s vibrancy and Sands’ capacity to deliver headline-making events.
