More details have been revealed for TravelRevive — Singapore's first
hybrid trade show, and the country's largest event to date when it
launches 25-26 November at Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention
Centre.
"TravelRevive is the first major international trade show to take
place physically in Asia Pacific since Covid-19, and we are delighted to
work with Messe Berlin to bring this landmark event to life," said
Andrew Phua, executive director, Exhibitions & Conferences, STB.
The two-day event will test green lane entry protocols for a selected
number of foreign attendees and will also trial a number of new
'Covid-safe' event protocols, such as special itineraries for foreign
visitors and digital event technologies.
To facilitate, safe meetings between exhibitors and buyers, 18sqm booths will be paired with 9sqm meeting pods.
Several collaborations will also beef-up conference content, which
will be streamed live and made available on-demand. This includes key
MOU signings between Singapore Tourism Board (STB) and MICE players, as
well as the IAEE Asia Hybrid Forum — exploring the new digital
capabilities of MICE venues in a post Covid-19 world.
STB and SACEOS will also be hosting a special edition of the
Singapore MICE Forum (SMF) and MICE Connect, highlighting the industry's
latest developments and details of Singapore's Events Industry
Resilience Roadmap, launched in early October.
Two panel sessions will collectively touch on preparing for the new
MICE business model, rethinking business travel, and how to restart
travel in a safe manner.
At the leaders’ panel, speakers include senior executive
representatives from hotels, associations and event organisers, such as
InterContinental Hotels Group, Global Association of the Exhibition
Industry (UFI), International Association of Convention Centres (AIPC),
International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA), Marriott
International and Oakwood Worldwide.
