Having hosted key events such as the 33rd ASEAN Summit last November, Suntec Singapore is set to continue its strong momentum this year, bringing in several new events to Singapore.
The centre has unveiled a lineup of 88 key events this year, which includes several returning medical shows as well as new additions.
Among the new additions is OPTIONS X for the Control of Influenza 2019 organised by ISIRV, which includes the association's flagship conference.
Events that are set to make a comeback include the 6th SG-ANZICS Asia Pacific Intensive Care Forum, Singapore Hepatology Conference 2019, AICT-Asia PCR 2019, 5th Asia Pacific CAD/CAM & Dentistry International Conference, 29th Singapore Pharmacy Congress, Asia Pacific MedTech Forum 2019, EBPOM Asia 2019 and ESMO Asia 2019.
The centre will also be hosting a new trade show, ELDEX. The B2B2C event will see Asian buyers and end-users for the silver economy in attendance, spanning six segments such as healthcare and rehabilitation; architecture and fittings; lifestyle and wellness; technology, digital & IT, finance, insurance and other services.
Switching gears from its slew of medical events, the centre will also be welcoming a leading transport technology congress in October. The 26th Intelligent Transport Systems World Congress is expected to draw over 10,000 delegates, from industry leaders to professionals, government officials, students and members of the public from around the world.
Last year, the centre also introduced new technology upgrades, which enable event organisers to have a 360-degree view of venue spaces as well as an online booking platform, accessible via their mobile device.
Suntec Singapore has also won some 15 top industry awards, including the Asia and World titles for Leading Convention and Exhibition Centre at the World Travel Awards.
